In addition to owning and operating our own high-speed fiber network, OneCommunity works with other service providers to create custom solutions that fit organizations’ requirements today and in the future.  Thanks to our third party provider management, we take the complexity out of the buying decision by aggregating and translating the purchase of broadband circuits, bandwidth and services into a simple managed solution. Connectivity

OneCommunity uses top-quality equipment and provides subscribers access to superior network services. Our Open Network Architecture is capable of providing dark fiber, wave, Ethernet and IP-based service interconnection to any on-net, or upstream provider location. OneCommunity’s network allows organizations to operate a converged IP network capable of delivering robust voice, video, and data services at speeds from 10 Mb/s to 40 Gb/s, without sacrificing security or architectural flexibility. Our customized network service solutions enable greater flexibility and planning for future services that may not be available via other local networks. As an Open Network Provider, OneCommunity’s network provides its subscribers access to any one or multiple upstream providers insuring that your network is future proofed and can take advantage of the latest, most cost effective network services.

Our ultra-high speed broadband network uses a high-capacity, high-performance Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) system allowing “out-of–the-box” capacity of 64 Lambda channels scalable to 80 channels. The network uses Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) on its entire backbone to the customer edge to provide maximum reliability and end to end service level management. The foundation of our core network is the fiber-ring architecture providing diversity and reliability with multiple interconnected gateways that have the ability to provide over 320 Gb/s to over 64 Tb/s of switching capacity per gateway.

Around-the-Clock Support

OneCommunity’s Network Operations Center (NOC) monitors, manages and maintains visibility and control over the entire network to ensure it is operating at peak efficiency.  

The NOC is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days per year. When contacting the NOC, every subscriber receives a standard trouble ticket number and is provided with updates and escalation according to individualized Service Level Agreements.  Subscribers are also provided with access to the OneConnect service portal that provides real-time trouble ticket status. Our NOC uses the latest incident and network management systems to detect, diagnose and resolve network performance issues and outages.
